Irish Immigration Center Philadelphia
The Irish Immigration Center was founded in 1998 to meet the needs of the Irish immigrant community in Philadelphia. Their work focuses on the most vulnerable members of their community, however they also provide advice and support on a range of issues of interest to the Irish and immigrant communities in the Philadelphia region.
Their services fall under three main areas:
- Supporting immigrants
- Promoting citizenship
- Strengthening community
In 2017 The Emigrant Support Programme was delighted to support the Irish Immigration Center in Philadelphia and provide funding for three important projects:
- Immigration Services
- Senior Outreach
