Request for Tender for consultancy services for the Ireland Africa Fellows Programme

The Embassy of Ireland invites eligible consultancy firms to express their interest in providing consultancy services to manage Stage 1 of the selection process for the Ireland Africa Fellows Programme. It is envisaged this contract will run for a term of 6 weeks, beginning 1 August. 

Provision of Services

The Embassy of Ireland invites competent consultancy firms to submit tenders for the administration of Stage 1 of the selection process for the Ireland Africa Fellows Programme, as set out in the tender document. The scope of this contract is to complement the Embassy Fellowship Officer. Details are found in the tender document.

Tender

Tenders are sought by the Embassy from consultancy firms interested in providing services as outlined in this notice. 

Companies should register their interest and submit relevant and comprehensive information showing that they have legal status, i.e. relevant registration certificates to provide such services.

The company should briefly demonstrate that they possess the required capability to carry out the tasks. The capability statement should include descriptions of similar assignments, qualifications, experience and provision of services, particularly to Embassies and international organisations, costs submission, availability of appropriate skills among staff and any other relevant information. 

Consultancy firms will be shortlisted based on qualifications, technical comptence, experience in similar services and the capacity to undertake the assignment. 

Only consultancy firms with demonstrated experience, together with a track record in similar assignments, and which meet the requirements, will be considered for this work.

Award Criteria for Final Tender

The award criteria and selection methodology are set out in the tender documents. 

Please note the following:

Existing consultancy firms are eligible to tender;

Any interested consultancy firm should be willing to provide services as and when required, be it during working hours or out of working hours;

Each tender should also indicate the charges/costs and mode of payments.

Tender documents are available at the link at the bottom of this page. Tenders should be addressed to the Embassy Fellowship Officer, Embassy of Ireland, and submitted to ADDISABABAExternalEmail@dfa.ie not later than 18:00 on 21 July 2023. Late bids will not be accepted.

The Embassy of Ireland reserves the right to accept or reject any tender. Canvassing will result in automatic disqualification of the tender.
