Papal General Audiences

Papal General Audiences are usually held each Wednesday at 9.30 a.m.

The Audience is primarily held at St. Peter’s Square; the dates for upcoming general audiences can be found at the following Vatican webpage: http://www.vatican.va/various/prefettura/en/udienze_en.html

Please note that all tickets are free of charge and that audiences are suspended during July.

They can be requested from the Prefecture of the Papal Household using the request form on its website: http://www.vatican.va/various/prefettura/en/biglietti_en.html

The completed form can be faxed to the following number: +39.06.988.5863.

It can also be posted to the office of the Prefecture of the Papal Household at:

The Angelus

The Angelus is held each Sunday at midday in St. Peter’s Square and is presided over by the Pope. Tickets are not required for this event.
