I am required to submit a letter from my employer or current place of study as part of my visa application; what format should this take?

Letters from your employer or place of study should be recently dated, on headed paper and signed by an appropriate officer whose position in the business/institution is clearly stated. It is essential that correct contact details for the business/institution are provided in order that the information you supply with your visa application can be verified. If this office is unable to verify the information you supply, it may result in a visa being refused.
