Should I lodge the original travel passport with the Embassy?

With effect from 22nd October 2018 VFS Global, Russian Federation will be accepting visa applications from Russian Federation citizens and visa required nationals who are resident in the Russian Federation. There will be no alternative service. The Public Office in the Embassy of Ireland, Moscow will be closed. Please see https://www.dfa.ie/irish-embassy/russia/visas/ for further information.

Effective from 1st August 2019 VFS Global, Belarus will be accepting visa applications from Belarus citizens and visa required nationals who are resident in the Belarus. There will be no alternative service. The Public Office in the Embassy of Ireland, Moscow will be closed. Please see https://www.dfa.ie/irish-embassy/russia/visas/ for further information.

Effective from 1st August 2019 VFS Global, Kazakhstan will be accepting visa applications from Kazakhstan citizens and visa required nationals who are resident in the Kazakhstan.
