The UN Declaration on Human Rights, 68 years old on December 10th 2016, recognised for the first time something that has become universally accepted since then, that human rights are inherent to all and should be of concern to all. The Declaration and its core values, including non-discrimination, equality, fairness and universality, apply to everyone, everywhere and always. 

Relaunch of the Irish Aid Bursary Scheme for Karamoja

Ugandan Fellowship Awards 2016

A reception in honour of the Ugandan students who were awarded fellowships to undertake post-graduate study in Ireland and within the region (East & Southern Africa) has been held at the Embassy of Ireland, Kampala. The students were funded under the Government of Ireland’s Irish Aid Fellowship Training Programme (FTP).

Embassy Kampala is delighted to announce that Devenish Nutrition has been nominated for an Investors Award at the 2016 Investor of the Year Award Gala. The awards ceremony will take place today Friday 24 June, the final day of Uganda Investment Week which is organised by the Ugandan Investment Authority. Devenish Nutrition is the only European company who has been nominated for an award.
