The Embassy of Ireland to Uganda is delighted to announce that Ireland will be represented at the 2nd Euro African Kampala Film Festival from 16 to 27 June. Come and see films from 18 countries across Africa and Europe. Films will be screened at Cineplex Oasis Mall in Kampala and tickets cost only UGX 3,000.
We especially invite you to join us on Wednesday 24 June at 19.30 for the screening of Ireland’s entrant Run and Jump directed by Stephen Green and starring Maxine Peake, Will Forte and Edward McLiam. Run and Jump won the audience Award for Best Irish Feature at the 25th Galway Film Fleadh 2013. This screening is supported by Irish Film Institute International, funded by Culture Ireland and The Arts Council of Ireland.
The festival is presented by the Delegation of the European Union to Uganda, Embassies and Cultural Institutes of the EU Member States in partnership with the Embassy of Norway, Maisha Film Lab and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA). The operational coordination of the event is implemented by Alliance Francaise Kampala.
