If something goes wrong when you are in Uganda or Rwanda and you need help, you can contact the Embassy or call the Consular Assistance Unit at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Dublin on +353 1 408 2000.

Remember: Irish citizens travelling to Uganda or Rwanda are advised to register with the Embassy. Temporary visitors should use the online registration facility. Irish residents in Uganda or Rwanda should Contact Us at the Embassy.

Please note that if you require urgent assistance while the Embassy is closed, contact the main Embassy number, (+256-41) 7713000, and leave a message on the Duty Officer voice mailbox. This mailbox will be monitored regularly. Alternatively, you may contact the Duty Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin at + 353 1 408 2000.
