A very special programme showcasing Vietnam's Culture was held in Dublin on the 9th of September, organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism, and the Vietnamese Embassy to celebrate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Ireland. The Vietnamese delegation was led by Vice Minister Le Khanh Hai.

The Vietnam Cultural Day was hosted at Dublin City Hall. In his remarks at the opening of the event, Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr Charles Flanagan, T.D, thanked the Vietnamese artists from the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre and Vietnam National Academy of Music for their excellent performance. A Vietnam Culture Space exhibition was opened to introduce Vietnamese culture to the Irish public.
