We kicked off our busy Bloomsday schedule this year at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where our Vice Consul Niall Farrell delivered a lecture on James Joyce and Ulysses to students at the Department of English and Linguistics.
Consul General Flynn celebrated Bloomsday in Friedberg, with the German-Irish Society, whose reading circle has been reading the works of James Joyce for the past 23 years!
