Irish Aid: Call for Applications from Organisations in Nepal

The Government of Ireland’s overseas development assistance [ODA] programme is entitled Irish Aid, and seeks to reduce global poverty, hunger and humanitarian need. One element of Ireland’s ODA is the In-Country Micro Project Scheme (ICMPS), which is a funding program aimed at supporting micro projects as implemented by local, grassroots NGOs in order the tackle the root causes of poverty and injustice. Priority is given to sustainable projects.

The objectives of the ICMPS are to prevent hunger, improve access to essential services, promote human rights and gender equality, empower women and marginalised communities, help local communities advocate for themselves and to combat climate change.

We welcome project proposals for up to €7000 from organisations in Nepal, which would meet one or more of the objectives set out above. Please note that ICMPS 2022 is limited to organisations operating in Nepal only.

Applications must be received by close of business on 15 July 2022, using the dedicated ICMPS application form.

If you wish to receive an ICMPS 2022 application form and more information about the scheme, please call us on +91 11 4940 3200 or email newdelhiirishaid@dfa.ie. You can also have a look at our website for more information.
