Slovak Shamrocks - Vienna Gaels GAA tournament, Bratislava

Ambassador Callan hosts the Slovak Shamrocks and Vienna Gaels GAA teams on the occasion of their tournament in Bratislava

On 4 March 2017, the Slovak Shamrocks and Vienna Gaels GAA teams competed in a tournament in Bratislava. At the conclusion of the tournament, Ambassador Callan, hosted the teams at a reception and paid tribute to their officeholders, officials and volunteers who have worked hard to promote Gaelic games in the region. She saluted the teams for their excellent work to promote Ireland and Irish culture, for their support to the diaspora and for welcoming team members from many countries including Austria, Cyprus, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Slovakia, US and the UK.
