Miruna Bouros RIP

Miruna Bouros RIP

The Embassy of Ireland to Belgium is deeply saddened to share that our dear colleague and friend Miruna Bouros passed away on 12 January 2023.

Miruna joined the Embassy in September 2016 and brought energy, an open heart and great professionalism to all aspects of her work.

Her absence will be deeply felt by colleagues in the mission and the wider Department of Foreign Affairs network. Miruna shared her reflections on life following her diagnosis of Ewing Sarcoma on her personal blog.

Details of the arrangements to remember and celebrate Miruna’s life are listed below. All are welcome to attend.

The Embassy will close on Friday 20 January as a mark of respect.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam. May she rest in peace.
