Seminar on ’Road to Independence: Ireland 1916, Estonia 1918

The Embassy plans to organize a seminar for Estonian teachers and lecturers of history, social studies, and English language and literature. The seminar will be focused on comparing Estonia’s and Ireland’s road to independence in the light of WWI and the years following. There will be local speakers and possibly speakers from Ireland. The traditional Q&A will follow the round-table discussions.

The Notre Dame documentary on the 1916 Rising is planned to be screened to finish the seminar.
