It is with great regret that the Embassy has taken the decision to cancel its St. Patrick’s Day celebration scheduled for Tuesday, 17th March.
This decision was not taken lightly and follows close monitoring of the situation in Luxembourg and nearby countries, and the advice of public authorities, as well as intense discussions with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Dublin and our Embassy network across mainland Europe.
The Embassy hopes it will be possible to host a similar event later in the year when the current Corona/COVID-19 virus threat has dissipated.
We’re sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause our guests, but we’re sure you will understand that nothing the Embassy does should at all contribute to health and safety concerns for the people and Government of Luxembourg.
