Top Passport Questions

The Passport Office in Dublin moved from its previous premises on Molesworth Street to 17-18 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 (former EU Commission and Parliament offices) on 19 October 2015.

While the move has been carefully planned to minimise disruption to passport services capacity to process applications requiring same day or less than five working days turnaround is reduced until further notice. The Passport Office will move to permanent new accommodation in central Dublin in the coming months and further information will be provided on this in due course.

Applicants are strongly advised to check the renewal dates of their Passports (noting children’s passports renewal dates) and to use the Passport Express service, which continues to function as normal. The turnaround for this service continues to be ten working days.
