15 October: Irish Nigerian poet Chiamaka Enyi-Amadi will speak about her recent anthology Writing Home: The New Irish Poets, as part of the Litquake festival. This event is co-presented by Culture Ireland and the Consulate General of Ireland in San Francisco.
14–16 October: Irish singer, songwriter and producer Enda Gallery performs five shows over three days in San Francisco: 14 October at Mr. Bing’s and at Kezar Pub, 15 October at Mad Dog in the Fog, and 16 October at Fiddlers Green and at Ireland’s 32.
15 November: Irish conductor Peter Whelan makes his San Francisco Opera debut with Orpheus and Eurydice by Christoph Willibald Gluck, which runs through 1 December.
22–23 October: Irish-Chinese American contemporary dancer Megan Lowe performs with her company as part of San Francisco Trolley Dances, presented by Epiphany Dance Theater.
19–23 October: Tony Award–winner Bill Irwin brings his intimate production On Beckett to the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, with a pre-show reception and post-show discussion featuring Beckett scholar Prof. Joshua Gang on 23 October.
