20 April 2018To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Good Friday Agreement, the Embassy is hosting a special screening of In the Name of Peace: John Hume in Americaat the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra.
In the Name of Peace is a compelling feature documentary, narrated by Liam Neeson, telling the story of how John Hume mobilized Irish Americans and America to bring an end to years of bloody violence in his homeland. Tickets are free, but bookings are essential as seats are limited.
