Irish Passport information for Great Britain

To travel between Ireland and Great Britain?

We understand that all airlines except Ryanair accept photographic ID (such as a valid driver’s license) as evidence of identity for travel to Britain. If travelling on a passport, it must be valid.

What is the location and opening hours of the Irish passport office in Great Britain?

You can find the Irish passport office in Great Britain at the following address.

Opening hours are between 9.30am and 4.30pm.

Please note that residents in Great Britain must make passport applications through either designated Post Offices in Glasgow and Liverpool or the Irish Embassy in London. The Passport Express Service operated by An Post in Ireland cannot accept applications from residents in Great Britain.
