Emigrant Support Programme 2020 Grant Application window now open!

The Irish Government's Emigrant Support Programme grant programme opens for applications, Wednesday, 15th January 2020. The Irish Government is seeking applications from non-profits whose work strengthens the international Irish community and its bond with Ireland. The ESP programme funds projects that have a clear and identifiable impact on supporting and building global Irish communities.

In 2020 the Government remains committed to prioritising projects that are:

  • Collaborative in nature
  • Supportive of intergenerational links
  • Reflective of diversity within the Irish diaspora and Irish communities
  • Supportive of new emigrants
  • Focussed on emotional wellbeing

To date, more than 530 organisations in 36 countries have received with grants totaling over €182 million.

The grant application process closes at 5.30pm on Wednesday, 19th February 2020. No applications will be accepted after close of business on Wednesday February 19th, 2020.
