The Irish community in Austin, Texas gathered at the Consulate General of Ireland on Tuesday, 24 September to mark the arrival of the new Consul General of Ireland, Claire McCarthy.

Consul General Claire McCarthy highlighted detailed how the priorities of the Mission in the coming years will focus on the implementation of the “Global Ireland” strategy for the U.S. and Canada 2019-2025 which was published earlier this year https://www.dfa.ie/media/dfa/ourrolepolicies/ourwork/US-Canada-Strategy.pdf
