Launch of Yeats Translation 'Torni ja kierreportaat'
In 2015, Ireland celebrated the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Nobel Prize-winning poet, William Butler Yeats. On 15 October, Ambassador Colm Ó Floinn hosted a reception at his residence to mark the launch of the new Finnish translation of Yeats’s poetry 'Torni ja kierreportaat' by Jyrki Vainonen, published by Basam Books. Readings were given in Finnish and English by Jyrki Vainonen and actor Frank Boyle respectively.
