How should I send my application and how will it be returned?

Applications may be submitted in person at the Passport Office or sent by post. If you choose to post your application, we strongly recommend you to use registered mail or a reputable courier service. The Embassy cannot be held responsible for applications or documents lost in transit.

All passports will be returned by post. Please ensure that you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your application (minimum first class large letter stamp). It is recommended that you submit a registered envelope and note the tracking number, which can be tracked on the Royal Mail website. If a registered envelope is not provided, the passport will be posted by first class post. It is not possible to collect passports at the Passport Office.
