Silence…. ça tourne!

 Film signing 2

And ACTION!

An historic agreement on cinematographic co-production was signed this week in Paris between Ireland and France, by the French Minister of Culture, Rima Abdul Malak, and the Ambassador of Ireland to France, Niall Burgess.

The agreement will facilitate creative exchange between France and Ireland and incentivise cooperation between our two film industries, opening up access to a wider talent pool and creating further employment opportunities.

The agreement means that future Franco-Irish co-productions will be regarded as national productions in each territory. The productions will then be eligible for local benefits in the co-producing country such as broadcast licence fees, access to tax incentives, regional subsidies and the local distribution market.
