Travel

All passengers arriving in Ireland from Great Britain will still need to fill in an online form called the Covid-19 Passenger Locator Form.

Public health guidelines continue to apply for anyone arriving into Ireland from Great Britain, including restricting your movements for 14 days. Certain categories of travellers with an essential function or need will not be required to undergo quarantine.

You can view the full list of exemptions here. If eligible for an exemption, you may be asked for documentation to show evidence of this.

Persons travelling from Great Britain can claim an exemption from restricted movements after 5 days, if they can produce a negative PCR result from a test taken a minimum of 5 days after arrival in Ireland

Consular Assistance

Irish citizens with a consular query during regular working hours should email us at irishembassylondon@dfa.ie and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

If you have an urgent query or require assistance in case of emergency out of hours, please contact the main Embassy number 02072352171 and leave a message for the Duty Officer who will then contact you as soon as possible.
