Irish entry "Kissing Candice" (2017, Aoife McArdle) in this year's European Film Festival. The film will be shown in Bucharest on Saturday, 12 May @ 20.30hrs at the Peasant’s Museum Cinema (str. Monetariei nr. 3), in Tirgu Mures on Friday, 18 May, 19.00hrs @ ARTA Cinema Hall and in Sibiu on Sunday, 3 June, 17.00hrs @ Ion Besoiu Cultural Centre. Entrance tickets can be purchased directly at the box offices of the cinemas.

Plot: 17 year old Candice longs to escape her seaside ...town and finds solace in her imagination. When her disillusionment calcifies into an obsession with a troubled stranger, she becomes entangled with a dangerous local gang.
