Taoiseach Leo Varadkar visited Bucharest on 24 July 2018 where he was warmly welcomed by the President of Romania, Mr Klaus Werner Iohannis, as well as by the Prime Minister Ms Viorica Dăncilă and the President of the Chamber of Deputies Mr Liviu Dragnea. The Taoiseach also met with representatives of the Romania Ireland Business Association and of a number of major Irish companies that have invested in Romania.
