St Patrick’s Day 2018

This year the Consulate, Enterprise Ireland, the IDA and Tourism Ireland were delighted to welcome Minister for Justice and Equality, Mr. Charlie Flanagan T.D., to Sydney from 14th – 18th March to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Minister Flanagan took part in a wide ranging programme which included community, business and tourism promotion events. While in Sydney, the Minister also visited the Irish Support Agency in Bondi and paid his respects at the Australian Monument to the Great Irish Famine. The Minister also spoke at the Lansdowne Club’s St. Patrick’s Day lunch, which is one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day lunches in the world and visited the “Green Quarter”, the St. Patrick’s Family Fun Day in Moore Park on 18th March.
