Returning Emigrants Survey

​The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is undertaking a survey on barriers faced by returning Irish emigrants. The survey focuses on identifying and addressing any disproportionate or unnecessary administrative burdens that negatively affect people wishing to return to Ireland and is intended to inform the Department and Government actions and policy in this area.

To assist in their research, Indecon - who have been appointed to conduct the survey - by the Department have prepared a brief questionnaire for returned/returning emigrants, available at this secure link: https://www.research.net/r/irishemigrants
