Conference on new research on Irish and Croatian modern and contemporary history

With the support and involvement of the Embassy, an academic conference was held on new research on Irish and Croatian modern and contemporary history at the University of Zagreb.
During the daylong conference a number of Irish and Croatian attendees presented papers, with participation from Maynooth University, UCD, and the University of Rijeka as well as Zagreb University. There was also a panel where ideas for new research in historical and sociological fields were presented. This event is part of a general Embassy outreach effort to promote academic exchanges between Croatia and Ireland across the university sector in Croatia.
