Irish Archaeological photo exhibition at Dubrovnik Museum Rupe

Irish Archaeological photo exhibition at Dubrovnik Museum Rupe

Ambassador Dowling spoke at the opening of the ‘Celebrating Ireland's Archaeological Heritage’ exhibition at the Ethnographic Museum Rupe in the old city of Dubrovnik, along with the Director of Dubrovnik Museums, Ivona Michl, Curator of the exhibition, Porin Šćukanec Rezniček, and Deputy Mayor of Dubrovnik, Jelka Tepšić. A number of patrons of the museum were present for the opening, along with members of the Irish community in Dubrovnik.

The exhibition was created by the Irish National Monuments Service, in conjunction with the Archaeological Museum, Zagreb and Embassy Zagreb. This is the third location it is being presented, following exhibitions earlier in the year in Zagreb and Split. The exhibition will travel to a number of other cities in Croatia over the next year, as part of the Embassy's outreach efforts across the country.
