25th Days of European Film Festival

25th Days of European Film Festival

The 25th Days of European Film Festival took place in Prague, Brno and several other Czech towns from 5–22 April, 2018. Ireland has participated in the festival for many years. The festival is organised annually by the City of Prague, Embassies and cultural institutes and is under the auspices of the Culture and Education Ministers, the Mayor of Prague and the EC representation in the CR. The festival introduces European cinematography to Czech audiences.


Mary Shelley, a drama about the love between Percy Bysshe Shelley and young Mary, the future author of Frankenstein, was screened at the Days of European Film Festival in Prague on 9 April in Světozor cinema and 11 April in Lucerna cinema. Actor Hugh O'Conor came to Prague to personally introduce the film.
