Students at the Embassy
We were delighted to welcome to the Embassy students from the Gymnázium Benešov (Secondary School) between 17-19 yrs. The students completed a short quiz and impressed us with their knowledge of Ireland. Ambassador Cliona Manahan then shared Ireland's experience in the Peace Process, Europe, and spoke about developments in Irish and Czech relations in the past thirty years since the Velvet Revolution. The winners of the quiz were presented with Irish chocolates. Students were keen to know more about Ireland includin education, Erasmus and toursim/culture. We will be staying in contact and are keen to encourage more two way visits and programmes.
