Creative Pathways intiative - launch event

The Creative Pathways programme was initiated in 2020 by the Embassy of Ireland in Berlin to create networks between German and Irish arts universities, fostering creative collaborations between their students and recent alumni.

The participating professors are

  • Bernadette Cronin - University College Cork,
  • Jennifer Walshe - HMDK Stuttgart,
  • Jürgen Simpson - University of Limerick,
  • Ulrich Wegenast - Filmuniversität Babelsberg,
  • Gerard Byrne - Städelschule.

Each of the above professors will guide the collaborative teams of twelve students and recent alumni as they work on interdisciplinary art pieces under the theme of ‘Beckettesque’. The pieces will be exhibited at Raumwelten festival, Ludwigsburg, in November 2021.

In case you missed it, the launch event is available below
