Ambassador Cliona Manahan with Erin Swan were delighted to meet the talented Irish pianist Ms. Elaine Loebenstein who accompanied silent era film Come On Over in the movie theatre Ponrepo on Saturday, 7th September. This event is a part of a European Silent Film Concert Tour.

Literature Night 2018

The 12th Literature Night took place on 9 May 2018 in the Prague 1 Old and New Town districts and offered 18 contemporary European authors presented in attractive locations, many of which are usually not open to the public. Ireland was represented by a reading of Cré na Cille by Máirtín Ó Cadhain, wonderfully read by popular Czech actress Milena Steinmasslová.
